Can Chrono-Nutrition Help Prevent Diabetes?

چکیده
This editorial aimed to put forward a question if chrono-nutrition can help prevent diabetes through optimizing circadian rhythms of glucose metabolism. With the advancing mechanization, eating behavior (timing, sequence, and frequency) has changed. People are now more willing eat fast foods at suboptimal times period. Growing evidence suggests that untimely lack exercise interfere with optimal physiological insulin metabolism lead diabetes. Type 2 mellitus (T2D) is foremost metabolic disorder worldwide occurring largely due timing lifestyle. Consuming less sugars carbohydrates during evening overnight may optimize human chrono-physiology. Chrono-nutrition via meals growing science needs be well practiced or possibly reduce risks T2D in today’s complicated life.

The circadian clock system in mammals drives many physiological processes including the daily rhythms of sleep-wake behavior, hormonal secretion, and metabolism. This system responds to daily environmental changes, such as the light-dark cycle, food intake, and drug administration. In this review, we focus on the central and peripheral circadian clock systems in response to drugs, food, and nut...
متن کاملDYSLEXIA, DYSPRAXIA and ADHD - CAN NUTRITION HELP?
There is a wide spectrum of conditions in which deficiencies of highly unsaturated fatty acids (HUFA) appear to play a role (Glen et al, 1999). This includes atopic (allergic) conditions such as eczema and asthma as well as psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia and depression. The focus here is on the role of HUFA in three common learning and behavioural disorders dyslexia, dyspraxia and ...
متن کاملCan urban P conservation help to prevent the brown devolution?
Achieving better understanding phosphorus (P) flows through urban ecosystems is needed to conserve P, as non-renewable phosphate rock deposits become depleted and the global human population increases. A baseline mass flow analysis (MFA) for P developed for the Twin Cities Watershed (TCW, which includes most of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan region) showed that most P input was stored in...
